Service Calls
In the unlikely event of requiring a Service Call please complete the following fault checklist before calling the AHT Service Line.
Fault Checklist
- Please check there is power to the cabinet, eg: are any lights or fans on? Check that any fuses or power sockets are working.
- In the case of the appliance becoming too warm, check that the condenser is clean (see instructions). The condenser must be cleaned regularly.
- Ensure the cabinet is sited as per the instructions. It should not be in direct sunlight or in a position which restricts the flow of cool air to it.
- Make sure the thermostat is adjusted correctly. Turning the thermostat to a colder position when the appliance is already iced up makes problems worse. Please defrost the appliance and then adjust the thermostat.
- Ice cream cabinets may become hot on the outside during start up or heavy usage, this is normal.
The above faults are not covered by warranty as there is no machine fault. Please note that AHT will charge for an engineer's time to carry out the above maintenance tasks.
Parts warranty does not include items considered as consumables such as light tubes, bulbs or gaskets. Please see the full terms of AHT/Scanfrost warranties.
